I am a time served and well qualified aviation professional, with a skills portfolio that includes many aspects of modern flight operations practice. I am able to write technical articles, reports, instructional bulletins and technical manuals.
I have amassed over 13,000 of flight instruction, and train on many aircraft types, both small and large.
I have been involved in aviation since 1975, and have progressed through my profession. I am now an Authorised Examiner for the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority, as well as being a current Qualified Pilot, holding Class Rating Instructor, Multi Engine, Complex Airplane, Night Rating and IMC rating. Tailwheel rating. Qualified Glider Pilot.
I have a fascination for safety, and recently acquired my Basic Air Accident Investigator's Certification.
Additionally, I hold a Master's Degree in Air Safety Management
In my spare time, I enjoy creative writing, and am capable of writing on a variety of subjects, including General Interest, Travel, Motorcycling, Flying, Gliding, and Poetry.
